Arrived in Athens! We are EXHAUSTED!
10 hour flight from Atlanta to Athens! Even though we were seated in business class, it is hard to sleep! Lots of scooters & motor bikes. They are allowed to drive between cars and zigzag through traffic. Sweet pedestrian sign. Watch for kids! GYROS anyone? Open street restaurant. Not even sure what this is, but the puzzle is painstakingly being reassembled.
Today-Omaha-Atlanta-Athens
Today, September 29, 2022 we are heading to Athens where we will stay a few days to tour. After Athens & Meteora, we will move on to our Backroads trip where we will hike and bike through Santorini & Crete.
