Monday, October 3rd. Flight to Heraklion (Crete)

We went to the Archaeological Museum of Heraklion. 27 rooms display archaeological finds from Neolithic to Roman Times - 6th millennium BC to 3rd Century AD......after awhile, it all becomes Greek to me!

We went to dinner at Antipodas. It was very good and our bill per couple was $53. Drinks and everything! It does take a bit of patients to pay the bill.
Happy Birthday to Jerry Nebbia! He turned 65 today! I bought him a souvenir in Athens. They had many displays of wooden painted penises. The one he has hanging off of his pocket is a penis bottle opener. Why do they sell penis trinkets in Athens? Here is the reason I found on Google: Greece explain that penises pay tribute to Dionysus — the god of fertility
View from our room in Crete. We are staying at the GDM Megaron Hotel.
Diane and I at the museum with bathtubs and burial containers!
